Stay connected, save more - ditch roaming fees with easySim. What is an eSIM?
A strong internet connection – Ideally, you will need to be on WiFi or have good 4G signal.
An eSIM compatible device – If you are unsure, see list of compatible devices here
Your device must not be locked to a single network.
Part 1: Install your eSIM
Settings > Connections > SIMs > SIM manager > tap Add eSIM then scan QR code.
Tap Add to add eSIM and follow on screen instructions.
Unable to scan your QR code? Follow these steps:
Get your eSIM activation code from your account. To do this, select "My data bundles & eSIMs" from the Menu and tap "View eSIM" on the data bundle for the eSIM you would like to install. Then click "Copy code" located under "Android & Samsung".
Go to Settings > Connections > SIMs > SIM manager > tap Add eSIM > Scan QR code > Tap Enter activation code
Paste in code then tap Done.
Part 2: Activate your data bundle
When you are ready to use your eSIM, do the following:
Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Mobile data > select eSIM 1
Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > enable Data roaming
You are now using your new easySim data bundle. Awesome job.
Top Tips
Notice the two signal strengths at the top of your screen!
The signal strength shown on the right is the one being used for “Mobile Data”.
To save battery, turn off your easySim if you’re not using it.
We suggest you name your eSIM “easy” so you can easily recognise it. To do this, click the edit pencil in top right corner of screen.
