An India travel eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to access mobile data in India without inserting or swapping a physical SIM card.
Instead of buying a local SIM after you arrive or using your home network for data roaming, you can buy your India eSIM online, install it before you travel and connect to mobile data when you arrive.
easySim India plans are data-only, allowing you to use internet-based services such as:
FaceTime
iMessage
Google Maps
Social media
Video streaming
Your primary SIM can remain available for calls and SMS while easySim provides your mobile data connection. Check your home network’s roaming charges before leaving your primary SIM active abroad.
easySim India bundles currently use the Reliance JIO network, with 4G available. Network availability and speeds can vary by location, device and local coverage.

An easySim India eSIM gives travellers prepaid mobile data without the need to find a local SIM shop or replace their physical SIM. Buy online, install before departure and activate your data when you arrive.
Choose from the live fixed-data plans above based on the length of your trip and how much data you expect to use. If you need more data, you can top up your existing easySim rather than installing a new eSIM.
easySim India plans are data-only and support hotspot/tethering, so you can use your allowance for everyday travel tasks such as maps, browsing, messaging and sharing a connection with another device.
easySim's current India data bundles use Reliance JIO, with 4G shown as available in the network information for the live plans.
Coverage and connection quality can vary by location, device and local network conditions, so no mobile service can guarantee the same signal everywhere in India. For the best chance of connecting on arrival, make sure easySim is selected for Mobile Data and Data Roaming is switched on for the easySim line.

Before you travel, check that your phone is eSIM-compatible and unlocked, then install your easySim while connected to reliable Wi-Fi.
When you arrive in India, turn on the easySim line, select it for Mobile Data and enable Data Roaming for that line. On compatible Dual SIM phones, you can keep your primary SIM installed for calls and texts, but check your home network's roaming charges before using it abroad.
You do not need to remove your physical SIM to use easySim. If you run low on data, top up the same eSIM from your account.
