A UAE travel eSIM is a digital SIM that gives you mobile data in the United Arab Emirates without replacing your physical SIM card. With easySim, you can install your eSIM before departure and use mobile data when you arrive in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and elsewhere in the UAE. The UAE data bundle connects through the du network, with 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G available. easySim is data-only, so you can keep your primary SIM available for calls and SMS if your phone supports Dual SIM — but check your home network’s roaming charges before leaving it switched on.
Watch the short video below to see how easySim works — from selecting your UAE plan to activating your data when you arrive.
For device-specific setup, installation guides are available for iPhone, Samsung and Android devices.
Your easySim UAE data bundle is designed for travel across the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The bundle uses the du network. Available network technology includes 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G, although the connection you receive at any moment depends on local network coverage, your device and location.
Install your UAE eSIM while you still have a reliable Wi-Fi connection, then switch it on for mobile data when you arrive. Before travelling, check that your phone supports eSIM and is not locked to a single network. Because the easySim website is blocked in the UAE, purchase enough data for your trip before departure.
A travel eSIM lets you get online without collecting or swapping a physical SIM card. Use your UAE data for maps, messaging apps, email, browsing and other internet-based services while travelling. If your device supports Dual SIM, your primary SIM can remain available separately for calls and SMS, subject to your home network’s roaming charges.
