A Thailand travel eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to access mobile data in Thailand without inserting or swapping a physical SIM card.
Instead of buying a local SIM after you arrive or using your home network for data roaming, you can buy your Thailand eSIM online, install it before you travel and connect to mobile data when you arrive.
easySim Thailand plans are data-only, allowing you to use internet-based services such as:
FaceTime
iMessage
Google Maps
Social media
Video streaming
Your primary SIM can remain available for calls and SMS while easySim provides your mobile data connection. Check your home network’s roaming charges before leaving your primary SIM active abroad.
Thailand bundles operate on the AIS and TrueDtac mobile networks, with 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G connectivity available. Network availability and speeds can vary by location, device and local coverage.

An easySim Thailand eSIM gives you prepaid mobile data without buying or swapping a physical SIM card. Choose from the Thailand country bundles shown above, install your eSIM before departure and use your data for maps, messaging, email, browsing and other internet-based apps during your trip.

easySim is data-only. If your phone supports dual SIM, you can keep your primary SIM available for calls and texts while selecting easySim for mobile data. Check your home network's roaming charges before keeping the primary line active abroad.

Your phone connects to a supported network where service is available. Coverage and speeds can vary by location, device, network availability, congestion and local conditions, so a specific speed or signal level cannot be guaranteed everywhere in Thailand.

Install your easySim eSIM before travelling while you have a reliable internet connection. When you arrive in Thailand, switch on the easySim line, select it for Mobile Data and enable Data Roaming for the easySim eSIM.
You can then use your data allowance for apps such as WhatsApp, maps, email and browsing. If you keep your primary SIM switched on for calls or texts, make sure mobile data is assigned to easySim and check your home network's roaming charges.
If the eSIM does not connect, confirm that the easySim line is on, selected for Mobile Data and has Data Roaming enabled. Use the easySim troubleshooting guide if you still need help.
